Held from 15 to 19 November 2009 at Airport Expo, the Dubai Airshow is the foremost aerospace event in the Middle East and the fastest growing airshow in the world.
Following the record-breaking show in 2007, the Dubai Airshow was the 11th and largest in the biennial series with 890 exhibitors from 47 countries, New for 2009 was an additional exhibition hall ‘Emirates Hall’; named after its host and sponsor Emirates Airline the new hall providing an additional 5,000sqm of exhibition space, an increased Press Centre and an extra registration building to accommodate trade visitor traffic.
Projex was the main contractor managing the shell scheme, Electricals, furniture and carpeting for the show besides designing and building many feature areas for the event including priority access gate counters, registration counters, a large press centre with offices and seminar areas
Projex also designed and built a VIP hospitality pavilion for Airbus, Chalets for Chevron, ADAC, ADNOC, Dimanond aircraft, Fairs and Exhibitions and custom stands for Fokker, Vistajet, Aerotest, Emirates store.
